| Battery monitors give a visual, and in cases audible, indication of a battery’s state of charge. Battery protectors prevent the battery from being discharged too deeply. For the longest life possible, batteries should not be discharge too deeply too many times. A battery protector monitors the battery voltage while appliances are running and automatically switch off when the battery’s voltage reaches a preset voltage - thus preventing the battery form being overdischarged. The appliances are automatically reconnected once the voltage has reached a preset voltage. |
