Phocos’s compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) provide very high illumination levels with low power consumption. This high quality 12V DC lamp can be used directly in 12V battery or solar systems.
The expected life span of the lamp is more than 8 000 hours. A special DC-preheating circuit guarantees an extremely high number of switching cycles, and over-temperature protection causes the lamps to automatically switch off prior to overheating to prevent damage to the lamp. The lamps comply with the CE standards for low interference with radios and other electronic devices and are an excellent choice for any illumination purpose which requires more than 200 lumens.
The lamps are available in two colours: warmtone (W) and coldtone (C), but please check which is available locally prior to ordering.
