Whether you want to try before you buy, or simply prefer this cheaper alternative, you may wish to rent a unit.
The solar panel kits are supplied with an adjustable roof or roof rack mounting kit, regulator, cabling and connectors; everything you will need to simply connect the panel to your vehicle, making the kits suitable for the general overland traveller. Alternative mounting options may be available, even if you do not have or use a roof rack. Please contact us for further details.
There are 90W, 87W, 80W and 75W panels available for rental for R220 per week or part thereof.
NEW - We now also stock Solar 68 roll up panels, available for R260 per week, or part thereof.

Note:
Weekly is considered to be 8 full days, including the collection and return day. Eg, Customer collects on Monday, and returns on the following Monday.
The physical dimensions of the panels differ between the various panels, thus customers need to take this into account when choosing which panel they prefer. See the Solar Rental Booking Form below for panel dimensions.
Please note that discounted rates can be arranged for extended periods (longer than 30 days), contact us for details.
The above rates exclude a refundable cash deposit of R600 per panel.

The number of solar panel kits available for rental is limited. To avoid missing out, especially during the peak holiday periods, please BOOK EARLY!
Note that a deposit of 50% of the rental is payable upon booking (this deposit is only refundable if the rental is cancelled up to 30 days before the collection date). If the booking is made less than 30 days before collection, the rental amount is to be paid in full at the time of booking.
You may contact us via phone, fax or email (preferred) to discuss your requirements. Alternatively, you may download the Solar Rental Booking Form below, fill in the relevant details, and fax or email it to us. We will confirm your booking and send you an invoice for the deposit.
